Here's some questions that are frequently asked about nail extensions:
- Q: How long will nail extensions last?
- A: About 3 months with regularinfills.
- Q: What happens when I've had my nail extensions for 3 months?
- A: We soak off all the old product and re-apply a new set of tips, or apply a coating to your own natural nails which have grown up.
- Q: What is an infill?
- A: An infill is where we fill up the cuticle area where the natural nail has grown.
- Q: Do I need to buy anything to look after my nails at home?
- A: Yes, you need non-acetone polish remover, cuticle oil, buffers and nail polishes.
- Q: Why does the polish remover have to be non-acetone?
- A: Because acetone is a solvent for the tips and overlays.
- Q: How long does it take to have a set of nail extensions applied?
- A: It will take about one hour for a full set.
- Q: How strong are nail extensions?
- A: Very strong - stronger than your natural nails!
- Q: What happens if I break a nail?
- A: Just give us a call, come on in and we'll repair it or replace it for you.
- Q: I have very badly bitten nails. Could I have nail extensions?
- A: Yes, but it is more difficult to apply the extension and we would like to see you every week, to see how you are going on with your nails and to give you an infill.
